Sales Manager Mainfreight Transport, Houston Texas
Mainfreight Houston is looking for an experienced, proactive and motivated Sales Manager to join our Team.
Mainfreight Houston is a key strategic branch for our domestic less than truckload business.
This is an important management position with responsibility to drive new sales in one of the major transport lanes in America. A strong record of accomplishment in leadership and people management is preferred along with a demonstrated passion for sales growth, service excellence and profitability.
Mainfreight Houston is set for its next growth stage and requires someone who has strong commercial acumen. The right candidate will have a passion for the sales process and leadership to drive new business.

- Success in driving new sales within an asset based LTL environment

- Ability to develop and maximize value for our customers, your team and your branch
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Continual coaching, training and development of sales team members
- Recruitment of sales talent
- Lead a sales team activity including CRM management and new pricing activities
- Maintain personal as well as managing sales team member’s pipeline.
- Accurately project and review with Branch Manager new business to support branch growth.
- Manage pricing activity and collaborate with Branch Manager to build rate tariffs.
- Achieve branch growth goals.
