Key Responsibilities:
- Perishable Cargo Handling: Handle temperature-sensitive commodities including produce, meat, and seafood. Duties include hand stacking and restacking of multiple boxes, building foil pallets, and shrink-wrapping.
- Hazardous Cargo Handling: Safely process and handle hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements and company safety protocols.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trucks with products and materials efficiently and safely.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring destination labels match shipping labels to prevent misroutes.
- On-Hand Cargo Processing: Enter on-hand data correctly and timely into the system. Monitor the processing of HAWBs and collect sheets as they accumulate.
- ULD Build-Up & Breakdown: Prepare Unit Load Devices (ULDs) including untying nets, cutting plastic, and tying netting for outbound air freight.
- Parcel Consolidation: Consolidate parcel shipments as required and assist with labeling and shipping of air freight.
- Documentation & Manifests: Check warehouse cargo manifests, ensure paperwork is signed, and trailers are sealed prior to departure.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with organizing and maintaining the warehouse space.
- Dock Operations: Handle all incoming and outgoing freight passing over the dock in a timely and accurate manner.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and orderly work environment including trash removal, keeping workstations neat, and sweeping floors.

Requirements:
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physical tasks throughout the day in a demanding warehouse environment.
- Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with basic mechanical principles for equipment operation and maintenance, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in cargo handling, labeling, documentation, and quality control inspections.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage inventory and maintain an orderly warehouse space.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform across varying shift schedules.
Schedule:
- Full-Time | In-Person
- 8-hour shifts with availability for day, evening, overnight, rotating, and weekend shifts as needed, including holidays and overtime
- Shift Availability Required: Day Shift, Night Shift, or Overnight Shift
