Mainfreight Ocean Export Manager | Chicago Ocean

This is an opportunity for a position in our Chicago Ocean branch. It is a highly visible role in the USA on a Team striving for growth with focus on exceptional quality and service.

To be successful you will need to have a strong understanding and appreciation of:

• Coaching and mentoring of a team with various backgrounds and experience levels
• The export process in general
• Our company KPI’s
• Our customers KPI’s
• Cargowise operation and managing a dashboard
• Internal and external rules and regulations surrounding air and ocean freight
• Development and building of consolidations
• The overall sales process and what it takes to grow business - revenue and margin
• The branch P&L
• Opportunities and challenges around the warehouse (previous experience in this arena would be beneficial)

As part of the Chicago leadership team you will have great exposure to our business as a whole. This role plays an integral part in driving this branch forward into continued success.
