Business Development/ Sales (Cadetship) Program
About the Cadetship
- Hands, structured and supported sales training
- Learning all domestic functions and systems, including operations, administration, customer service and sales
- Exposure to the wider business, including warehousing, forwarding and local cartage (understanding of the global business – who we are and what we do)
- Attendance at internal and external sales skills training sessions
- Involvement in Group sales meetings and conferences
- Managing inbound calls from prospects and existing customers
- Outbound prospecting telesales
- Preparing spot quotes
- Qualifying leads for outbound sales calls
- Weekly sales debrief
Skills and experience
For this particular role, we are looking for someone who is truly passionate about a career in sales. You may already be in a customer service or internal sales role now, wanting to take that next step to consultatively sell business solutions. We value individuality, personality and energy. A willingness to learn is a must, as is excellent personal presentation, punctuality and attention to detail. The right person will have a strong internal drive to succeed, showing initiative to develop their knowledge. Being a team player is paramount!
