An opportunity has arisen for an energetic individual to join our Houston Transport Team in a Customer Service role.
About the position:
- You will act as the primary point of contact for a defined group of customers, taking ownership of their service experience, while developing strong relationships along the way.
- Working closely with the local Houston Team along with other branches around the country, your core operational responsibilities will be managing outbound Houston LTL shipments to maximize profit while exceeding service expectations.
- Supported by our Sales team, you will assist in developing and implementing ideas that drive ongoing improvement, while also participating in customer business reviews.
About the candidate:
- Superior phone etiquette. This includes clear/concise verbal communications with customers and internal employee.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining on-call accuracy.
- A positive attitude and a passion for the growth direction of our transport business.
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and assist in the operation, when necessary.
- The ability to work effectively as part of team, and to relate to a wide variety of people.
- Confidence to roll with the punches and embrace a fast paced and ever-changing environment while keeping a smile on your face.
