Air Freight Operations Manager, Mainfreight Air - Chicago, IL
A fantastic opportunity has opened up in the ORD Branch. We operate a consistent amount of volume on both imports and exports with so much more area to grow. We have big plans for our growth and need the right team member to help support this growth The Air Operations Manager is responsible for airfreight export and import related activities including but not limited to recruiting, training, mentoring, maintaining compliance, establishing internal procedures, supporting sales, and maintaining client relationships. In addition, responsibilities include negotiation with airlines and vendors, P & L oversight, and related accounting and operational activities. The Operations Manager will also take over as the TSA Facility Security Coordinator. This is a highly visible role with having complete responsibility of one of our leading airfreight products in the USA. A strong track record would be required to lead a large team, along with a demonstrated passion for service quality, continuous process improvements and profitability.
