A&O Accounts Payables
A new opportunity exists for an Accounts Payable team member to join our Accounting Team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career through our business and work alongside a dynamic team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join us.
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- All branch payments – Truckers, Airlines, CFS, Ocean Carriers, Overhead etc.
- Communicate with vendors and branches on a daily basis regarding payables
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts
- Dispute resolution
- Account analysis
- Reporting
- Manage and grow relationships with vendors
The successful candidate must possess the following
- ’Blue Blood’ understand our Mainfreight values and implement them in our day to day operations.
- A solid understanding of accounting principals
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Have an eye for detail
- Positive Attitude
- Self-motivated
- Great time management and organization skills.
- Above average excel skills or ability to learn
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to proactively identify and solve issues as they occur
- A “can-do” positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team setting as well as individually
