An exciting leadership opportunity has become available within Mainfreight Chicago Ocean as our export manager. We are searching for an individual that can continue to build on the success of the team and grow us to greater heights. A demonstrated passion for our service quality and our culture is required along with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Main tasks include:

• Working closely with the team ensuring the highest level of service is provided to our clients
• Escalation point for clients and team
• Assisting the export & commercial team where needed
• Join sales calls and QBRs
• Department P&L Management
• Assisting with Accounts receivables and payables
• Coordinating bookings with vendors, agents and business partners
• Liaising with our global team
• Ensuring key performance indicators are met
• Provide our internal and external customers quotes and assistance
• Branch allocation management
• Prime resource for the greater team
• Ensuring completion of team training and development assignments
• Team member reviews
• Additional responsibilities as they present themselves
