Key Account Manager Mainfreight Transport, Houston Texas
We are looking for someone to be the bridge between sales and operations, whilst maintaining and growing existing business. As a KAM you will be responsible for developing strong & trusting relationships with our key clients. You will be our customers main point of contact, ensuring Mainfreight is surpassing their expectations helping them grow as a business. Let’s make Houston Transport freight the place to be in 2023.
- You will need a strong understand of the Mainfreight Global network in order to grow business not only within our reach, but across the country.
- Ability to resolve customer issues/bottlenecks and develop a deeper understanding of their needs – we want to be a true extension of their business.
- Approach the business in a consultative manner - If our customers are going through major supply chain changes, we want you to be the first person they call.
- Not afraid to ask WHY? We want to push the norm and ask the hard questions to our customers.
- You will need to be able to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively, as you will be looking after a number of different clients.
- Develop long-term Transport freight pricing and management strategies.
- Be PASSIONATE about your team, customers & achieving your goals.
- Develop and build procedures with the operations team when onboarding and building solutions for our customers.
- Build and present custom business reviews for our clients, each one is special in their own way.
- Enjoy working alongside the sales and operations team, sharing ideas and collaboration on business.
