Mainchain: always in control of your Supply Chain

Would you like to be in control of your orders and consignments? Always, everywhere and in real time? With Mainchain, the Supply Chain Portal from Mainfreight, this is possible. Mainchain combines and organises all information on your orders and your airfreight, ocean freight and road shipments. With just one login, you have all the information, at any time, at your disposal.


Mainchain updates

Mainchain’s capabilities are continuously under development from the customers’ perspective in order to make it even more user-friendly and to improve its functionalities. The developments within Mainchain is in full control of ourselves, which allows us to include our customers’ needs in development proposals. At this moment Mainchain is available in several languages and a graphic widget is available. The analysis of information in Mainchain has also been simplified with the expansion of Excel capabilities and the information provision has also been extended by means of personalised messages.

Mainchain: available in several languages

We are an international logistical service provider with a worldwide network and Mainchain has been available in several languages since January. This improves communication with customers locally and it is useful for customers with branches in different parts of the world. You may be able to create different users in your Mainchain profile, customize the individual dashboards and select the desired language. Currently Mainchain is available in Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish.


Optimum information provision with the graphic widget

A graphic summary that solely contains information relevant to you? Take advantage of Mainchain’s graphic widget. Select the information needed and the graphics and colours you prefer. Detailed information about a specific order or shipment will be displayed by clicking on a particular field.

Analysis with Excel

The extension of Mainchain’s Excel functionalities is just one of the latest developments. This has contributed to a better understanding of data nowadays. It allows an easy export to Excel to establish the desired analyses. You are able to collect data in a self-selected period of time up to a maximum of two months. Required data are with Mainchain always within reach.


Proactive messages

Notification Mainchain

Mainchain’s information provision was expanded in March, allowing you to receive proactive messages by e-mail or text when the status of your order or consignment changes. You decide which messages you would like to receive. Settings can be defined per consignment or customer profile. Whether your consignment is on its way, has been collected or delivered, a message will be sent immediately so you always have the status of your consignments.


Future developments

The updates mentioned above are just a few examples of the possibilities offered by Mainchain. In the coming period we will be continuing with the development of new functionalities like the integrated booking tool, an online platform with which customers are able to create consignments directly. In the future there will also be a quotation module available which allows you to make price calculations. This will provide you with fast and accessible information about the costs and options for transport, after which, you will then be able to register your consignment with just one click. We are also going to offer customers the option of attaching documents to consignments like invoices by means of document management.
