De planningsafdeling is het kloppende hart van ons transportbedrijf. Als planner plan je de transporten via de weg: je selecteert de juiste vrachtwagen, benut de laadruimte optimaal en stippelt de meest economische route uit.

Het takenpakket:

  • Je maakt de nationale distributieplanning op voor een 65-tal vrachtwagens
  • Je stippelt de meest economische route uit met ondersteunende software
  • Je volgt de planning proactief op en stuurt bij waar nodig
  • Je werkt samen met onze nationale onderaannemers en volgt ook hun ritten mee op
  • Je analyseert transportissues en brengt oplossingen aan
  • Je zorgt er mee voor dat goederen tijdig en volgens afspraak afgehaald en uitgeleverd worden
  • Je hebt contact met expediteurs, kaaimedewerkers, chauffeurs en onderaannemers
  • Je werkt in een flexibel systeem: om de 3 weken werk je 18u-02u, andere weken werk je in shiften 06u-14u / 08u-16u / 10u-18u.

Jouw profiel:

  • Je hebt geografische kennis van België en je blijft op de hoogte van omleidingen, wegwerkzaamheden, etc.
  • Obstakels zie je als uitdagingen en je gaat er oplossingsgericht mee om
  • Je bent communicatief zeer sterk met klanten en chauffeurs
  • ​Je bent gedreven en gemotiveerd
  • Je werkt vlot met MS Office, nieuwe computerprogramma’s maak je je snel eigen
  • Je hebt zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands, en vlotte kennis Frans en Engels
  • Je hebt een eerste werkervaring in de logistieke sector.

What is the working culture like?
We are a very flat structured organisation. We have open plan offices and management sit in amongst the team. We do not use the “s” word (staff) and refer to everyone as Team – everyone has a part to play in moving Mainfreight forward and meeting our targets and goals.

We believe in working hard but we also have fun and a laugh while we do it. Our team is empowered to make decisions and have a say in how we do things.
How will my career progress?
