This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic team member who will work closely with our Romanian branches (Timisoara, Cluj, Bacau, and Ploiesti) to help strengthen our company’s culture through training our people. If you are passionate about our culture and enjoy encouraging others to always aim for the best service then this is the role for you! 
We don’t do job descriptions at Mainfreight – instead we look at responsibilities and goals, and your goal is to ingrain the Mainfreight culture in our Romanian branches. You will be responsible for training team members in Romania in a variety of training courses and support the recruitment team when needed. Being part of the Training & Development team, you will wear many hats and flexibility to do so is crucial to your success.

In addition to the above

  • You are a clear, proactive communicator with excellent written and spoken English and Romanian;

  • You know your way around Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);

  • You are comfortable speaking publicly or have a strong desire to develop this skill;

  • Ideally you have operational experience;

  • This role is full time and you are able to travel to other branches in Europe when needed.

What is the working culture like?
We are a very flat structured organisation. We have open plan offices and management sit in amongst the team. We do not use the “s” word (staff) and refer to everyone as Team – everyone has a part to play in moving Mainfreight forward and meeting our targets and goals.

We believe in working hard but we also have fun and a laugh while we do it. Our team is empowered to make decisions and have a say in how we do things.
