Flooding in South East Queensland & New South Wales

Please see below for todays update regarding the ongoing service restrictions due to the flooding across South East QLD and NSW.

Conditions across South East QLD had started to ease with flood waters beginning to subside, however, with more rain and poor weather forecasted, cleanup operations have been delayed. Our team are continuing to navigate road closures and are completing deliveries where possible. The QLD areas we are having the most trouble accessing include;

Milton
Toowong
Paddington
Red Hill
South Brisbane
Albion
Newstead
Fortitude Valley
Fairfield
Meadowbrook
Loganholme
Beenleigh
Bethania
Stapylton
Yatala
Ormeau
Oxley
Ipswitch
Toowoomba

In NSW the flooding has moved beyond Northern NSW and is now impacting the North West and South West. Evacuation orders are currently in place for several of these areas. It is anticipated that the Nepean river will overflow in the coming hours / days as heavy rainfall continues. The NSW areas we are having the most trouble accessing include;

Byron Bay
Murwillumbah
Lismore
Kingscliffe
Lismore
Richmond
Nepean
Marsden Park and surrounds
Hoxton Park
Glenfield
Chipping Norton
Milperra
Camden valley through to Picton

Please be aware of delivery delays and challenges with handling freight when you are planning to despatch or receive freight to and from the areas listed above.
