With a fantastic opportunity available, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as SALES SUPPORT to support our successful sales team. Ideally the successful candidate will have sales in their DNA and is now looking for an opportunity to move into a sales role with the view to move into a Sales Executive role and beyond in the future. We will tailor a development path for future success out on the road proudly selling the Mainfreight brand and culture that we are so proud of!  
You will be exposed to our branches globally giving you the best opportunity to develop your professional network to further fuel your career.

Based in our Rotterdam ocean freight branch overlooking the largest port in Europe, the role will have a heavy focus on supporting all functions of the sales process working closely with our sales team as we look to flood our branch with new business. We are not a branch satisfied with status quo so we are looking for a person that is willing make the role their own and put their own touch on it – someone who isn’t afraid to change process! 
Along with supporting the sales team, there will be opportunities to manage accounts and look for new business opportunities of your own as we develop your sales skills to ready you for success as a future Sales Executive.

Who we are?
It all started in 1978 with a couple of free-thinking entrepreneurs who didn’t care much for rules. As a start-up they challenged the establishment and always took care of their own. What is the working culture like?
We are a very flat structured organisation. We have open plan offices and management sit in amongst the team. We do not use the “s” word (staff) and refer to everyone as Team – everyone has a part to play in moving Mainfreight forward and meeting our targets and goals.

We believe in working hard but we also have fun and a laugh while we do it. Our team is empowered to make decisions and have a say in how we do things.
