Opening of our extended warehouse facility in Ploiești, Romania

Recently, we celebrated a significant milestone with the opening of an additional 10,000 sqm to our warehousing branch in Ploiești, Romania. This expansion brings our total warehousing space to 30,000 sqm, highlighting our commitment to growth and excellence in logistics.

This new warehouse extension offers a wide range of services: next to best-in-class storage and order picking processes, various value-adding activities are performed.
This facility is BREEAM certified, emphasizing our commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices. This development sets a new standard for our operations, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional services while minimising our environmental impact.

During the event, our Branch Manager, Emil Ion, was awarded an Excellence Diploma from the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Prahova County. This recognition celebrates Mainfreight's outstanding performance and contributions to the industry over the years.
