Sales Cadet - Mainfreight Transport, Townsville

This role will be based in our Townsville branch. The role will be specific to local, regional and interstate road transport. 

  • 6-12 months hands on pre-sales structured and supported training
  • Learning functions and systems that make national transport effective while maintaining efficiency
  • Exposure to the wider supply chain industry, including warehousing, international forwarding and local cartage
  • Attendance to internal and external sales skills training sessions
  • Involvement in national group sales meetings and conferences
  • Weekly debrief with the Sales Manager, including education, guidance and support


  • Working in an internal/external sales role previously
  • Have between 1-2 years of sales/customer service experience
  • Good organisational/time management skills and attention to detail
  • A passion for customer experience and a disciplined, proven approach to your workday
  • Strong sense of emotional intelligence
  • The ultimate problem solver
  • Immaculately presented at all times
