Customer Development Executive | Mainfreight Air & Ocean Sydney

About The Role

As part of the Sydney Ocean freight Customer Development team, you will be allocated a group of existing customers with the goal of cementing our relationship and developing commercial opportunities. This role is for you if you are keen to be involved in:

• Actively working towards locking in our existing customers
• Strategically planning, analysing and presenting regular performance reviews
• Building multi-level customer relationships
• Playing an active role in the implementation of new business
• Working closely with other Mainfreight brands
• Collaborating with our customers to create innovative improvements to their supply chains
• Delivering continuous improvement
• Problem solving and thinking outside the box
• Being a custodian of our Mainfreight culture

 

The successful applicant will have:

• Prior supply chain or freight forwarding experience (preferred)
• Immaculate presentation
• Proven track record of self-discipline
• The ability to negotiate successfully
• Analytical skills with high attention to detail
• The ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
• Be highly motivated to succeed and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
