Driver(s) of the Year
Every year, Mainfreight organizes Driver’s Day. On this special day we bring attention to our drivers and put them in the spotlight. Due to the corona virus, we unfortunately could not celebrate last year, which left us with no option other than celebrating it twice as good this year. To celebrate it big time we didn’t celebrate one driver, but honoured three instead. In our rejoice all drivers happened to be female! We congratulate Regina Riggeling for becoming Driver of the Year 2020, Jamie van Andel for becoming Driver of the Year 2021, and Marieke Vredegoor for becoming Driver of the Year 2022.
At Mainfreight, we are glad to see that more and more female drivers are joining our team. At our branches in 's-Heerenberg we count a total of 210 drivers of which 10.9% are women. This means that we employ 23 female drivers as of today.
