Felixstowe Port strike from 21st - 29th August

Due to the failure to reach an agreement between the UK's largest container port, Felixstowe, and trade unions representing port workers, an 8-day strike has been announced, commencing Sunday 21st of August and ending on Monday 29th of August, which will disrupt the entire supply chain from Europe to the UK.

This strike will most likely affect the lead time of your shipment; even when we route your shipment differently.
After all, part of the transport flows will move, so that the channel crossings between FR and the UK that we often use will also have to deal with congestion.
