Customer Service Medewerker

Als Customer Service Medewerker ben je verantwoordelijk voor een snelle en complete afhandeling van binnenkomende en uitgaande transport opdrachten binnen Europa. Hierbij ben jij het grootste deel van jouw dag bezig met customer service activiteiten. Je onderhoudt goede en korte communicatielijnen met onze interne klanten (chauffeurs, operationele teams, sales team en onze andere branches) met betrekking tot navragen over zendingen of het oplossen van knelpunten. Ook met externe klanten, zoals agenten en vervoerders, heb je veelvuldig contact en beantwoord je hun vragen of los je problemen betreffende het tijdig  en volgens afspraak leveren en  afhalen van onze zendingen naar tevredenheid op. Je hebt een passie voor de klant, kunt zelf bij een veeleisende klant vriendelijk blijven en begrijpt dat customer service ons visitekaartje is!

Daarnaast vind jij het belangrijk dat je alle gegevens in het transport management systeem up to date houdt, de juiste documenten en statussen aan een zending toevoegt en bij onregelmatigheden uitzoekt wat je eventueel kunt verbeteren in het proces en hierin initiatief voor verbetering neemt.

Als Customer Service Medewerker: 

  • Beschik je minimaal over een afgeronde HBO/MBO opleiding;

  • ​Heb je enige werkervaring in een customer service functie en affiniteit met transport;

  • Kun jij je inleven in de klant en hebt een passie om onze klanten een uitstekende service te laten ervaren;

  • Heb je een proactieve houding en neemt initiatief tot verbetering van onze dienstverlening;

  • Beschik je over een hoge dosis enthousiasme;

  • Ben je een echte teamplayer;

  • Zie jij commerciële kansen bij onze huidige klanten en speel je hier proactief op in;

  • Beheers je over uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatie vaardigheden in de Nederlandse en Engelse taal;

  • Kun je werken met MS Office en weet je met name de weg te vinden in Excel en Powerpoint;

  • Ben je Easy to deal with!

What is the working culture like?
At Mainfreight we are a very flat structured organisation. We have open plan offices and management sit in amongst the team. We do not use the “s” word (staff) and refer to everyone as Team – everyone has a part to play in moving Mainfreight forward and meeting our targets and goals.

We believe in working hard but we also have fun and a laugh while we do it. Our team is empowered to make decisions and have a say in how we do things.
How will my career progress?
