Mainfreight Lille, based near the vibrant Lille-Roubaix-Tourcoing triangle, is looking for a Business Development Executive to join our ranks.
Mainfreight Lille is a relatively new member of our growing European Mainfreight family, but sits next to a key hub for the French market – with a growing presence, we are looking for someone who wants to take on the challenge of developing our customer base in the North of France.
You will be a pivotal member of the Branch;
o Focused on acquiring new business and partners who have the need for Air & Ocean Freight in their Supply Chain
o A high degree of responsibility: decisions are yours to make
You will be a leader in our business, setting a high standard and driving a strong sales culture;
You will build relationships with our customers, understanding their supply chain and using our global network, technology and resources to propose solutions that fit their needs;
You will help design and drive sales initiatives in the branch in order to grow our market share and name in the French market;
You will not just be working behind a computer, but instead have the freedom to utilize all our resources and be out in front of customers, building relationships with key stakeholders in their business.
Who are we looking for?
A passionate and energetic team member, with:
o Ambition and eagerness to grow within our organization;
o Previous sales experience is a prerequisite;
o Previous operational experience is not necessary, but a plus;
A person who does not accept the status quo – someone who seeks not just to maintain standards, but beat them and constantly redefine our performance level;
An excellent communicator: with your team, our customers and the wider Mainfreight group – this is paramount across cultures;

Fluency in both English and French.
