Ocean Freight Export Operations

The role

With a fantastic opportunity available, we are looking for a highly motivated team member to join our ocean freight Export team to support our growing business. Ocean freight experience is nice to have, but not required. All the tools will be provided that are needed for you to be successful.

Duties & Responsibilities 

Based in our Rotterdam ocean freight branch overlooking the largest port in Europe, this role is all about providing outstanding customer service and operational support to our customers. Your focus will be to take control of export shipments from the time a shipment is requested to final delivery and everything in between. This will be liaising with our overseas Mainfreight branches, shipping lines, customers and our Mainfreight transport team. During the process you will be making decisions to get cargo moving and delivered in full and on-time.

• Competency in Dutch and English
• Previous ocean freight experience, although not required
