Junior Finance Administrative Europe

Due to growth in the number of Mainfreight branches within Europe, the Finance Team in Rotterdam is looking for an ambitious Finance Administrator. You will be working full time for the business unit Air & Ocean located in Waalhaven, overlooking the port of Rotterdam and will support the Finance Controllers as part of the European Support Team.
Within the European Finance team you will get the opportunity to learn step-by-step how the complete financial process of the various European entities works. You will support the debtors and creditors process, process daily bank reconciliations and set up monthly reconciliations between the various entities. You will be in daily contact with people both nationally and internationally when it comes to operations/sales (internally) and with customers/suppliers (externally) to resolve various issues. You’ll also work on internal reports and participate in the weekly and monthly P&L reports.

The Finance team is four young and driven team members with a strong sense of responsibility. Together we take care of the financial administration of Mainfreight Air & Ocean Belgium, Spain, Germany, England, Italy, the Netherlands, and France, and we support Poland and Russia.
