- A passion and understanding of the Less than Truck Load (LTL) Freight Market in the USA
- Success in driving new sales within an asset-based LTL environment
- A motivated and energized team player who inspires the team and community
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, team, and prospects
- Not afraid to set the bar high and challenge the status quo
- Professional conduct and presentation in both attitude and dress. Winner Mindset!
- Ability to develop and maximize value for our customers, your team, and your branch
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Acquire new customers in a designated Sales Territory within a defined Sales Process which you control
- Retain current customer base in your territory.
- Maintain a growing pipeline with progression of prospects to become daily shippers
- Documenting your client visits with future-focused steps
- Manage pricing activity to build rate tariffs. Present those to clients and monitor effectiveness, with adjustments as needed to maximize freight volumes
- Achieve branch growth goals by actively closing business with on-boarding process
- Working with all divisions of the company to provide quality referrals that will help client/Mainfreight win
- Support from the Branch Manager and Sales Manager as well as the national leadership team. We want you and the team to succeed!
