SPECIAL PEOPLE

Debi Fitzpatrick

Whilst I started working at Mainfreight 15 years ago, I have been part of the Mainfreight family since I was four years old. My father worked for Mainfreight back in the 80’s so I grew up around Mainfreight people, Mainfreight trucks, and Mainfreight social events.

It’s a fast paced and exciting industry and I have come to realise that you will either love it or hate it. For those that love it, they tend to be very loyal and have successful careers within Mainfreight.

During my time I have done many different roles and have tried to learn all aspects—from helping to load trucks to Customer Services to Administration. I love my current role of managing Mainfreight’s Auckland Training Centre. I form part of our Training and Development Team which means that no two days are ever the same. I enjoy the variety of the role and being able to interact with others from all walks of life, and all parts of the globe.

As Mainfreight becomes more and more of a global player in the marketplace the future is so exciting for us as a business, and us as Mainfreighter’s.

The thing to try when all else fails is again.
