Julie Lowe

After finishing my Bachelor of Commerce in 1998, I began my career at Mainfreight as the receptionist in our Dailyfreight Christchurch branch.

After working in all aspects of the office team for a year I joined the HR Training & Development Team, initially specialising in training and quality systems within our domestic transport division.

As the Mainfreight Group grew my role expanded to include Training & Development in our International Freight Forwarding & Logistics sites in NZ, Australia.  This eventually led to a role where I spent 18 months working with our Carotrans team, based in Los Angeles.

Since returning to New Zealand in mid 2005 I have moved into IT, where I now work as the Product Manager of one of our major software systems.

Working for the Mainfreight Group has provided me with exciting opportunites to broaden my skills, travel to many different cities around the world and work with an awesome team of people.
