Specialist Container Transport Equipment

Our transport fleet primarily consists of "Twenty-Forty Swings".  These swing lift units are capable of lifting and carting 10ft, 20ft and 40ft containers of up to 29 tonne.  These units offer our customers maximum flexibility and availability.

We also utilise flat-deck trailers for cart-only movements and break bulk, low tare weight skeletal trailers for overweight containers, and heavy rated tipper units with sliding axles for end-tipping.

Container Transport Technology

Technology at Owens now allows customers the comfort of automated emails on submissions for timeslots and dehire notification. We are directly linked into the major ports' computers, which provide instant and accurate access to container status and availability. This also allows us to update customers on vessel arrival and departure times, Customs hold or Quarantine requirements and real-time tracking.
